Code of Conduct & Anti-Corruption Policy

Violicom guarantees to always conduct business in a fair and transparent way and in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations.  Any possible conflict of interest will always be raised immediately with our clients and resolved to mutual satisfaction.  Violicom staff do not accept nor offer gifts or inducements to further our or our clients’ business interests.  If any such gifts are offered to Violicom, which in any way impinge upon the integrity of our clients, it will be reported to the respective client immediately.  Violicom always respects and maintains the confidentiality and proprietary information of our clients.    

Policies and Procedures

All Violicom services are conducted following a strict Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Code of Conduct to ensure that our standards are adhered to and that we are fully compliant with our clients’ policies and with applicable laws, rules and regulations.  All data and information are maintained with appropriate levels of security and in adherence to national and international laws and regulations (such as GDPR).  Upon reasonable request, Violicom commits to supplying our clients (or other body with appropriate claim) with accurate, full, fair, and transparent information.  Our processes are regularly audited to ensure that they remain fit for purpose and aligned with the latest laws and regulations.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Violicom adheres to the International Labour Organization standards (www.ilo.org) and actively promotes opportunities for our staff to work in a productive environment, in conditions of freedom, equity, equality, security, dignity, and safety.   No form of discrimination is tolerated.  Violicom is committed to supporting, respecting, and protecting international policies on protecting human rights and to uphold the elimination of forced and compulsory labour, and the effective abolition of child labour. 

Violicom complies with all local legislation on environmental issues and respect relevant international laws.  As a company, we actively look at ways to minimise our impact on the environment, such as printing only when necessary, not leaving computers on overnight, and recycling.  

All our policies and practices are reviewed on an on-going basis to ensure that they meet the latest laws and ethical standards.  We endeavour to ensure and undertake due diligence that anyone we work with is aware of our expectations and their responsibilities in this regard.  

Staff Training

All Violicom staff are trained during induction to the company on our core values and business ethics, with annual refreshers thereafter.  Violicom staff are encouraged to always do what is right, proper and ethical, to support their colleagues, and to speak out if they have any concerns.
